Multimedia Assisted Instruction Laboratory (MAI Lab)

The MAI laboratory is located on the 1st floor of the C. Cein Building, Room ML.

The main purpose of the  laboratory is to assist teachers in fulfilling their instructional objectives.  This facility helps to provide basic training and support to improve teacher skills. 

The laboratory has 22 eMac computers and internet access is available to all teachers to integrate their courses with the world wide web.  Teachers must see the lab manager in advance to set dates for their classes.

The laboratory is also accessible to all registered students at Palau High School, provided that there are no scheduled classes using the facility at the time.  Students are asked to provide a pass to the lab during class hours or present their class schedule if they have a free period.

The use of the laboratory is strictly for educational purposes and school related activities during government working hours. The laboratory follows the MOE’s Network Acceptable Use Policy (NAUP). All teachers and students must adhere to the same policies with regards to computer/internet use.

Computer/internet use is not a right. It’s a privilege! Abuse and mishandling of equipments or breaking of rules and/or policies will result in termination of that privilege.
